Most travel advisors start in travel. I came to it from service and from experience.

Before launching JPL Expeditions, I built and ran a high-end service business where consistency, attention to detail, and client trust were everything. That work also gave me the opportunity to travel extensively — staying in exceptional properties worldwide while building trips around skiing, cycling, and other outdoor pursuits.

Along the way, my wife and I raised three children who now share that same appreciation for getting outside and exploring. Travel and time outdoors have always been central to how we spend time together.

In 2021 I stepped away from my business and spent time in the outdoors, volunteering, and staying active in my community and church. Something was missing though — building something, working with people, and delivering a high level of service.

Bringing those pieces together led to the launch of JPL Expeditions in 2025, now affiliated with Departure Lounge and Virtuoso — two of the most respected networks in luxury travel — giving clients access to preferred partner benefits, insider connections, and properties most travelers simply don’t have access to.
